In Shadows
Ray was tossing and turning on the floor. As usual he had made his ‘bed’ there, since he couldn’t sleep in the bed provided by the institution. He already had a bed. It was a good bed, a nice and comfy one with lot’s of pillows.. and this wasn’t it. His bed was far away from this place, close to his mother. He’d been in the institution for a while now, but he still missed her. Especially at these moments when he was all by himself. He wished he was lying in his own bed close to her instead on this cold and sterile floor. It wouldn’t be so bad if Mike had been lying next to him though, but he was probably fast asleep now in his own room. Poor, sweet, misunderstood Mike, how he loved him so. Why couldn’t he be here with him?
